JUVÉDERM® Volite works by injecting a hyaluronic acid-based gel into the middle layer of the skin via several points of entry. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the human body, but supplies of this substance deplete with age. JUVÉDERM® Volite reintroduces hyaluronic acid to the skin and, in doing so, helps to rehydrate the skin from within. Hyaluronic acid also stimulates the production of collagen, boosting reserves of this natural protein in order to improve skin elasticity.

JUVÉDERM® Volite helps to rehydrate all areas of the skin through its hyaluronic acid-based formula, improving hydration, smoothness and elasticity across all areas of your body, from your face and neck to your hands and décolletage. You will also see a reduction in wrinkles across all skin types, and this treatment is suitable for patients of all ages.

Your treatment is usually completed in a matter of minutes, with a required visit of up to 30 minutes maximum, which includes a prior consultation before treatment.

There is no real downtime or recovery time for this procedure, but we do recommend abstaining from alcohol and makeup application for up to 12 hours following treatment and avoiding exercise for 48 hours post-treatment. Caution should also be exercised around extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, for at least 2 weeks.
